Welcome! Here’s Our Story..
It all started in 2001 when Brandon had his first Halloween Party and offered a little scary room for people to walk in and out of, then it GREW. In 2005 we expanded and built a little building on the side of the house for people to walk through called “Stinky Pete’s Saloon”, Brandon was fascinated with Cowboys and Westerns so he decided to use that as his theme. In 2008 we started having people inside to scare as guests walked through, ever since then it expanded more and more every year and it finally grew so much that we had a Cemetery in the front yard and an Old West themed haunt all the way around the back of the house and we named it “Evecrest Cemetery” We used special lighting, sound effects and animations to create a spooky atmosphere. Our neighbors and trick-or-treaters always told us how cool, creative, or scary our Haunt was. Some trick-or-treaters were too scared to even walk up to the door, especially after they ran into one of our zombies lurking around the Cemetery.
In 2012 we were given the opportunity to design and manage a professional Haunted Attraction which benefits the local Parkrose Community called The Haunted Ghost Town. In life you are given opportunity’s you can’t pass up and this was one of them for us. Being able to run The Haunted Ghost Town and Evecrest Cemetery would be a dream come true but one person can only do so much especially while still being in School. We will truly miss doing our Home Haunt but it’s for the better! Now don’t leave just yet, we still have some great news.. Even though we are running The Haunted Ghost Town we will still have our Cemetery themed yard display up on Halloween and the first weekend of November for anyone who would like to see it! It is free to view of course.
Throughout our site we have Project Tutorials on tons of different props and animations along with a few design tutorials too! You can check out “The Basement” if you are looking for some awesome hand crafted costumes or props. Feel free to stop by the Gallery to view some of our pictures from the Home Haunt and a few from The Haunted Ghost Town!
Thanks for visiting!
